THE SEARSON FAMILY
We are the Searson family! In a time when more and more funeral businesses are being brought by large corporate companies, we take huge pride in knowing that we are exactly what we claim to be, a family business. Here are those you will meet when visiting our funeral homes, the staff behind the services we provide.
ANDY SEARSON
Andy has been in Funeral Service for more than thirty-five years. A QUALIFIED Funeral Director and Embalmer, Andy is also a Funeral Celebrant and officiates most of our funerals. In addition, he looks after the day to the needs of our Design and Print Department.
DEBI SEARSON
Andy's wife, Debi, dedicates most of her time to looking after families at our Copnor Road Funeral Home. In addition, she will often be the friendly voice at the end of the telephone should you contact us outside of working hours.
MATT SEARSON
Matt is Andy's son. He will often be seen assisting at funerals, but his primary role is that of Embalmer. Matt is responsible for all guests in our care, a fundamental role that requires a great deal of trust.
ABBY MEDWAY
Abby is Debi's daughter; her role is Funeral Director, primarily based at our Copnor office, although she is also proactive in supporting our Leigh Park branch.
BONNIE GOSTAGE
Bonnie is a Funeral Director. she has a wealth of experience and helps look after families at our Leigh Park Funeral Home
ALFIE SEARSON
Alfie is Andy and Debi's son. His new role within the business is Conductor, helping support families and staff on funeral days.
SHANNON LASHLY
Shannon is Debi's daughter; she is one of our Florists, working for 'Flowers at Jasmines' and will be a familiar voice to those ordering their tributes.
EMMA MENZIES
Emma is our latest addition to the team; she works with Shannon at 'Flowers for Jasmines' and brings with her a very creative flair.
THOMAS SEARSON
Tom is Andy's son ... he's a Chef! However, he's one of the family and helps out when needed at funerals
